今週開催の東京オートサロン でのアンヴェイルに間に合うべく進められていたトミーカイラ のコンプリートカー Tommy Kaira R35 GT-R プロジェクト が最終段階に入ったようです。このコンプリートカープロジェクトは、超大型プロジェクトだったに違いないのですが、膨大な量の作業をこなし、後数日で完成です。今日公開された写真を見ると、ルックスはアグレッシブかつ洗練されていますが、最終的な判断は金曜日の東京オートサロンで実物を見てのお楽しみといったところです。写真の車両に装着されているホイールは、AVS Model F15（プラチナブラック、前：20×9.5 +45／後：20×10.5 +25）で、装着するタイヤはピレリ P-Zero（255/40R20 285/35R20）とのことです。

さて気になる価格ですが、ウェットカーボン（CFRP）製のフルキットは1,680,000円（税込）です。このフルキットは以下のパーツが含まれます。

• ウェットカーボン（CFRP）フロントグリルカバー
• ウェットカーボン（CFRP）フロントリップスポイラー

フルキットには手が届かないという方も、がっかりするのはまだ早いです。トミーカイラはフロントスタイルキットというサブキットも取り扱っています。こちらの価格は 630,000円で、以下のパーツのセットとなります。

今回発表されるのはウェットカーボン製のみですが、多くのパーツをドライカーボンでも生産するべくプロジェクトが進められているそうです。価格は未定との事ですが、近いうちに発表されるでしょう。また、エクステリアだけではなくインテリアパーツもまもなくリリースされます。レッドレザーインテリアパッケージというセットで、東京オートサロンの会場で実際に見ることができるでしょう。

以上のような内外装パーツに加え、トミーカイラはエキゾーストシステム、ブレーキキットやサスペンションキットといったパフォーマンスパーツの開発もしています。

The tension builds as we get nearer and nearer to Tokyo AutoSalon 2010. I leave for Tokyo this weekend so personally I’m pretty damn excited too. About the show, seeing old friends but also about checking out what TommyKaira have been up to with their GT-R.

On the news front, you can see a little more work has been done getting the parts on the car. A full custom TommyKaira brake kit has also been developed along with a suspension setup from Quantum.

We know that the guys at TommyKaira also plan to splash red leather liberally around the interior, including on the seats which will be replaced with some SpecV-esque Recaros.

Tokyo AutoSalon 2010 is coming up fast, if you plan on attending it’s about time to book your airfares and get your accomodation in order. One of the big unveils we’re looking forward to this year is the Tommy Kaira Nissan GT-R.

Much anticipated since we followed the production of the kit via the Tommy Kaira development blog we have yet to see the fully completed car.

What we have learned since the last update we made on the aero design is that Tommy Kaira will be upgrading the interior and suspension of the car as part of the complete package. The interior will be swathed in hand stitched red leather trim.

Tokyo AutoSalon will be held on the 15th, 16th and 17th of January 2010 at Makuhari Messe near Tokyo Japan. Until that time, these sketches in the gallery will have to tide you over.

The Tommy Kaira aero kit development is coming along and for this latest update quite a lot of tweaking has been done to reign in the look somewhat. The front air intakes are starting to open up which softens the sharp edges of the front end. At the rear, the wing is being fleshed out to give a better idea of the final version. The rear diffuser / underspoiler is also taking shape and improving.

While initially the Tommy Kaira aero kit looked too much like a leaf out of WALD’s recipe book, I think they’re slowly managing to make the kit unique and more importantly, more attractive.
