After a shakey few months since announcing it was filing for Minji-Saisei-Hou (approximately equivalent to filing for Chapter 11) Trust Japan’s parent company GReddy has announced a successful reorganization and is looking ahead to a brighter future.
GReddy USA has not fully emerged from their Chapter 11 filing but says they are confident they will over the coming months.

Trust have a long history of quality intercooler kits that have been on the market for many years in Japan. The R35 GT-R has been on their radar since release and this week we get our first look at their latest product.
The Trust intercooler kit for Nissan R35 GT-R comes with twin replacement intercoolers that fit in the standard location but increase size and volume considerably. Each core is expanded to 100mm thick while stretching an inch in width and height.
Garage Saurus are one of the first tuners to get their hands on this hot product and are installing them now, expect results as early as next week.
Official pricing and release dates should be on hand any time now. Expect these at or before Tokyo AutoSalon 2009!

Trust have long been in the exhaust game building extremely good value for money exhausts for a wide range of cars. I’ve personally had Trust exhausts on many of my cars including my R34 GT-R. We saw a prototype Trust PE Ti titanium exhaust at Tokyo Autosalon 2008 and have been awaiting the release of a Trust exhaust ever since.
This week Garage Saurus have got hold of just such an exhaust for a customer. As you can see there is a significant difference in design vs. the exhaust we saw at TAS2008 down to the materials used. A much more traditional stainless steel exhaust with titanium tips.
Exhaust pipe diameter is on the large side with 80mm diameter piping branching out to 4x115mm tips. Price is 378,000 yen.

The Trust/GReddy R35 GT-R which has since been bought by Croydon Racing Developments (CRD) in Sydney Australia was run on CRD’s Dyno Dynamics 4 wheel rolling road dynamometer yesterday.
The car made 297 kw (398hp) at all wheels with the speed limiter still in place. The power is still rising when the car hits the limiter so there is obviously more power in it.
The car is due to hit the drag strip this Wednesday night if the weather holds out. Stay tuned for more photos and results.

Trust’s GTR was actually the first car I saw on display at Auto Salon on Friday morning. I had a good look and as always I like the white ones. Was not a huge fan of the vinyl graphics but I can certainly appreciate the work that went into the exhaust.
Making slightly more power than standard with the Trust PowerExtreme Ti exhaust system this car was also fitted with aftermarket deep dish 20 Inch wheels.
