<p>Not much has changed on <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/category/tunernews/amuse/">the Power House Amuse Nissan GT-R</a> in terms of appearance but it&#8217;s most likely because they got the formula so perfect first time around. Still a huge crowd drawer at <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/category/motorshows/tasnews/">Tokyo Auto Salon 2009</a>, it was good to see how timeless the late Hideki Tanabe-san&#8217;s design was and that it most certainly still holds it&#8217;s own in the flesh and around a race track against most newcomers.</p>
<p>Featuring the <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/07/05/power-house-amuse-updates">full Power House Amuse Exhaust</a> including <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/07/05/power-house-amuse-updates">the R1-Titan Extra STTi muffler</a>, the <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/07/05/power-house-amuse-updates">R1000-No1 turbine outlets</a> and the <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/07/05/power-house-amuse-updates">R1000-No2 straight RS STTi midpipes</a>. Combined with the <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/07/05/power-house-amuse-updates">Hi-Tech ROM ECU</a> and a HKS EVC5 to control boost and it&#8217;s good for 611ps.</p>
<p>Aero is also handled by original Amuse products, the Amuse front under diffuser and the Amuse carbon rear wing offer improved downforce allowing for higher cornering speeds.</p>
<p>Suspension is adjustable via the <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/category/motorshows/tasnews/">Power House Amuse R1 Adjusting Kit</a> which allows the standard Bilstein Damptronic dampers to take aftermarket springs and have an adjustable ride height. Spring rates chosen are 20kg/mm front and 12kg/mm rear. </p>
<p>Wheels are standard and fill the guards nicely when lowered like this, tires are also standard but a set of rear 285/35 tires are fitted to the front of the car to assist in getting the understeer under control. </p>
<p>These slight modifications are all it took to get into the <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/03/28/power-house-amuse-gt-r-new-tsukuba-lap-r">low 59&#8242;s at Tsukuba Circuit (59.061)</a>.</p>

<p>Ben Linney has been busy collecting parts for <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/02/06/here-it-is-uk-s-first-r35-gt-r">his Nissan GT-R</a> over the recent months and has gone and fitted them up and run it on the dyno recently out at Perfect Touch. The results are good making 452.8 hp at all four wheels at 6,187 rpm. So far GTC are using a <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/03/30/sunline-exhaust-for-gtc-s-gt-r">Sunline Racing GTspec TiTANIUM SR exhaust</a> and a straight through front pipe. This setup deletes two of the four catalytic converters and improves flow as well as giving the car a great exhaust note.</p>

<p>Ben has also used a <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/category/tunernews/cobbnews/">Cobb Tunning</a> <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/06/17/cobb-tuning-accessport-update">AccessPORT (beta version)</a> to delimit the standard ECU. Tires have been replaced with Cooper Tires Zeon 2XS which are lighter than the standard Bridgestones by a considerable margin.</p>
<p>Next up GTC are looking to fit <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/07/05/power-house-amuse-updates">Power House Amuse</a> <a href="/blogs/gtrblog/PowerHouseAmuse/thumb_plugin/amuse-exhaust-007.jpg">R1000-No.1 Turbine Outlets</a> to delete the remaining two catalytic converters. </p>

Power House Amuse has now updated their website with details on many of the new products fitted to their Phantom GT-R including pricing and photos.</p>

<p><strong>Hi Tech ROM</strong></p>
<p>First up is the Amuse ECU reflash. Amuse have cracked the GT-Rs ECU and produced a selection of basic reflashes depending on your goal. The first of these is the <strong>Hi TECH-ROM BBL</strong>. With an RRP of 138,000 yen ($1,300 USD) this ECU features:</p>
<ul>
<li>Boost increased to 0.85 kg/cm² up from 0.75 kg/cm² in the mid range</li>
<li>Boost at high RPM increased to 0.8 kg/cm² up from 0.60 kg/cm² standard</li>
<li>Fuel and ignition maps tuned &#8211; May be tuned to take into account non-standard exhaust</li>
<li>Electronic throttle modified to increase low end response</li>
<li>CVTC tuned for more mid range torque</li>
<li>RPM Limiter raised to 7200rpm</li>
<li>Speed Limiter removed</li>
</ul>

<p><a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/index.php&amp;s=amuse&amp;submit=Search">Power House Amuse</a>, the tuning shop famous for the <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/2008/01/20/tokyo-auto-salon-2008-part-6-mine-s-and--1">Amuse Phantom 611 ps Nissan GT-R</a> has revealed that they are currently in the early stages of developing a after market turbo setup for the new GT-R. </p>
<p>The twin turbo kit is to be based on a pair of HKS GT30 Pro turbos rated at 500ps each. Together, running 1.0 kg/cm² (14.2 PSI) they expect it to make an easy 650ps on standard injectors with standard fuel regulator and ECU. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s certainly heating up in the R35 tuning game, expect more news out of Power House Amuse soon.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.gtr-world.net/">GTR-World.net</a> have posted a new video on their site&#8217;s GTR-World TV section. Power House Amuse take their demo car out to Fuji Speedway and set a very fast 1.51.44 time which is only just short of <a href="http://www.gtrblog.jp/index.php&amp;title=mine-s-break-into-the-1-51-s-at-fuji-spe&amp;more=1&amp;c=1&amp;tb=1&amp;pb=1">Mine&#8217;s time of 1.51.258</a>. With a bit more testing I&#8217;m sure Power House Amuse will up the stakes and give Mine&#8217;s something to work for. Driving the Power House Amuse car was Tanabe-san himself.</p>

<p>Next up we have the Mine&#8217;s and Power House Amuse R35 GT-Rs. These were two of the most impressive R35s in terms of how much the workshops have done since the very recent release.</p>

- Mine&#8217;s Silence-VX Pro Titan II Exhaust (full titanium exhaust)<br />
- Mine&#8217;s VX Rom ECU Update<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Super Catalyzer II<br />
- Mine&#8217;s VX Air Filter<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Super Outlet Pro II<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Stub Roof Antenna</p>
<p>Power House Amuse&#8217;s car was similarly impressive showing the following modifications:</p>
<p>- Amuse ROM ECU Update<br />
- R1-Titan Extra STTI Exhaust with R1-Titan Catalyzer<br />
- Upgraded suspension (18kg front spring rates, 12kg rear)<br />
- Large rear wing with carbon wing element<br />
- Larger front lip spoiler</p>
<p>This car is now making 541ps @ 6571rpm and has posted a 1:00 minute flat laptime around Tsukuba already.</p>

<p>Next up we have the Mine&#8217;s and Power House Amuse R35 GT-Rs. These were two of the most impressive R35s in terms of how much the workshops have done since the very recent release.</p>
<p>Mine&#8217;s were displaying their car with the following modifications:</p>
<p>- Mine&#8217;s Big Brake Rotor Kit and Mine&#8217;s Ceramic Brake Pads<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Front and Rear Stabilisers<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Full Spec Suspension III (Sachs dampers, Eibach springs)<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Aero Mirror II (prototype shown on the display car &#8211; production units will be available in carbon)<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Silence-VX Pro Titan II Exhaust (full titanium exhaust)<br />
- Mine&#8217;s VX Rom ECU Update<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Super Catalyzer II<br />
- Mine&#8217;s VX Air Filter<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Super Outlet Pro II<br />
- Mine&#8217;s Stub Roof Antenna</p>
<p>Power House Amuse&#8217;s car was similarly impressive showing the following modifications:</p>
<p>- Amuse ROM ECU Update<br />
- R1-Titan Extra STTI Exhaust with R1-Titan Catalyzer<br />
- Upgraded suspension (18kg front spring rates, 12kg rear)<br />
- Large rear wing with carbon wing element<br />
- Larger front lip spoiler</p>
<p>This car is now making 541ps @ 6571rpm and has posted a 1:00 minute flat laptime around Tsukuba already.</p>
