
アメリカの有名自動車サイト「エドモンズ(Edmunds)」で、2012 GT-R のニュルブルクリンクでのテスト写真が紹介されています。今回は前回のSpec-Vではなく標準車のようです。
先日までの写真と明らかに違うのは、カモフラージュの少なさだけでなく、まったく新しいデザインのホイールです。外装面では、フロントバンパー(グリル部分も)、リアバンパー、そしてホイールが今回のフェイスリフト(マイナーチェンジ)の大きな変更点となるようです。 ホイールの重量についてはまだ情報がありませんが、今までのモデルより軽量化されることは間違いないでしょう。

When we first caught a glimpse of the Kids Heart Nissan Stagea R35 GT-R conversion at Nagoya Auto Trend back in March we were instantly in love with the idea. M34 Stagea’s have been giving up their mundane wagon appearances to star as R34 GT-Rs forever so it was only right that the M35 should get in on the act too.
Edmunds must have also seen the appeal because they headed to Japan to find out more.

East Texas Muscle Cars is where you can point and begin laughing as they reckon they’ve got the know how to slap together a GT-R killing Camaro based on the cooking variety V6. Edmunds Inside Line is reporting that the V6 will be upgraded with forged internals and a remote mount turbo kit. Add to that a few other off the shelf tuning parts and they think they can tweak it to 500hp and slay the GT-R at the Nurburgring.
Their answer to improving the Camaro’s handling … ?
Other changes include a Baer big brake kit, lightweight 20-inch iForged wheels and Pedders coil-overs and bushings to address “the stock Camaro’s tremendous understeer and cradle walk.”

The Nissan GT-R is the Car of the Week over on Edmunds.com and as such they’ve followed their modern tradition of walking around the car and pointing out the technical intricacies of the suspension setup. Quite an interesting article for those interested to see what goes in to making the GT-R capable of 7:26 at the ‘Ring.

Edmunds’ Peter Lyon has been to Nissan’s Tochigi Plant to get his hands on the Nissan GT-R SpecV. There he was able to not only drive the car but push it quite hard and bring back some performance numbers via the VBOX data recorder.
Overall interesting points to note are the improved steering feel, the improved handling at the limit by reduction of the understeer tendancy of the base GT-R as well as improved acceleration. On the skidpad test they managed 1.12g, a significant improvement over their numbers on the standard car of 0.93g.
Lastly he leaves us with an interesting quote from Mizuno:
Mizuno tells us, “The SpecV, in contrast to what you might be thinking, is not the high-performance version of the GT-R.” That’s right. Mr. GT-R has more magic up his sleeve.
