GT-Rのモデルチェンジ情報がわかるにつれ、日産がかなり多くの点について改良を加えていることがわかってきました。さらには、型式もCBA-R35からDBA-R35になっていることにも気づきました。

2012年モデル（日本では2011年モデル）のGT-Rは、スペックVにも変更点がたくさんあります。先の記事で紹介したエクステリアの変更点など、すべての変更点がスペックVにも適用されるようです。さらに大きなニュースとしては、スペックVに加えスペックMもラインナップに加わることがわかりました。

スペックMは2,000万円級などという雑誌などの憶測もありましたが、そこまで高くはないとはいえスペックVと肩を並べる価格帯に位置することがわかりました。GTRBlogが入手した情報から、各モデルの価格比較を行ってみましょう。

スペックVとスペックMの価格差は約75万円ですが、具体的にどのような装備でその差が出るのかはまだ明らかになっていません。GTRBlogの知りえた情報から現時点でお知らせできるのは、

• スペックMという名称は確定ではない
• スペックMの発表は2010年10月18日を予定
• 発表会は2010年11月17日に日産自動車グローバル本社にて行われる予定
• スペックM専用色として「アルティメイトオパールホワイト (#QAG)」が設定される
• インテリア色の選択肢がたくさんある（下の表参照）

スペックMは専用色として アルティメイトオパールホワイト （＋525,000円）の設定がありますが、ほかのボディカラーも選択できるようです。

スペックMのすべての装備がわかったわけではありませんが、上記のボディカラーやインテリアトリムの組み合わせのほか、BOSEサウンドシステムも専用のものが装備されるようです。しかし、この専用のBOSEサウンドシステムは約120万円のオプションとのこと。

以上、最新のスペックM情報です。今後出てくる情報も楽しみですが、GTRBlogは「サクラ」というインテリアカラーに興味を持っています。

今週、ニュルブルクリンクからあと数ヶ月でマイナーチェンジするGT-Rを捉えた多くのスパイショットが届いています。今回、ついにマスクが外れた車両の写真が届きました。

アメリカのモータートレンド誌のウェブ版に掲載されたのは、フロントとリヤの意匠が変わっていることがはっきりとわかる写真です。
写真はすべて Spec-V のものと思われますが、フロントバンパーとリヤのバンパーについては標準車も同様と考えられます。

It was a little disappointing that the next iteration in the Nissan GT-R lineup did not make it to the Tokyo Motor Show in October as expected. We have heard now that the project had been delayed slightly until 2010. There launch is now expected to be in January, so not too far to go.

The SpecM prototype has been seen by sources in Japan and, from what we’ve been told, many of the previous articles in Japanese car mags check out. This includes the front bumper update, full interior customization as well as some extra trim frills.

We’ve worked up a little photoshop of the exterior front end based on what sources have told us. Note the gold trim and gold projector surrounds in the headlights. The basis of the prototype car was a SpecV GT-R so the wheels (albeit in a lighter shade of gunmetal grey) and brakes were carried over as well.

It needs to be said that the SpecV’s carbon ceramic brakes are optional and a GT-R SpecM with no carbon ceramic brakes is going to be significantly cheaper than the 20,000,000 yen figure being tossed around at the moment.

On the inside, the entire interior of the SpecM prototype is swathed in leather, including the headliner and rear seats which are cloth and vinyl respectively on the lesser models. Material colours and, in some cases the entire material, are of course customizable.

We’re hoping to get to the SpecM launch in January, if all goes as planned stay tuned for more details.

With the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show right around the corner, Japanese car mags are speculating on the final look of the 2011 Nissan GT-R SpecM. The so called “GentleMen Spec” Nissan GT-R is expected to debut at the troubled bi-annual motor show where the first GT-R production model debuted in 2007.

In the November issue of Japanese Car Top Magazine (CARトップ). on sale this week, we learn that a fully optioned SpecM will eclipse the 18 million yen mark headed into 20 million yen (220k USD) territory. That would include the full SpecV++ treatment including hand stitched interior. Optional dry carbon parts are said to extend even further beyond what was seen from Nissan so far, and could include a full trunk lid replacement.

Color options are also sure to grow with a dark red rendered as well as a metallic yellow on the magazine’s cover. Other rumours including the December 2009 orders/first deliveries seem to be confirmed. We’ll know more once we get our hands on the magazine itself.

Nurburgring stalker extraordinaire KGP Photography has snapped shots of the Nissan GT-R back at Nurburgring this week. The shots clearly show the same stuff we posted back in April 2009 when NAGTROC member Kislik spotted the same car at the ‘ring.

Whats changed since then? Well the rear diffuser seems to have gained a long row of red LED’s which are most likely an update to the European/Australian specification’s rear fog light. The rear spoiler is now black and is possibly revised. Can’t tell exactly in what way.

Most car ‘blogs today are reporting this car to be the 2011 SpecM GT-R but personally, I can’t see much evidence to support that it is anything more than the 2011 facelift GT-R. Anyone else spot something I don’t on this car?

Not official yet but, these could be shots of what will become the 2011 Nissan R35 GT-R. These photos were shot on Thursday 23rd of April in Germany while Nissan had the Nordscheife to themselves setting new best laps on the ‘Ring with another, base model, standard 2010 GT-R.

Kislik, our friendly GT-R owner from the Czech Republic snapped these shots of the masked car as it was tested during the same session.

Firstly we asked ourselves why there was a masked, apparently base spec model on the circuit? Some theories were, that this was an older test mule from 2007 or possibly a 2011 SpecM test mule?

What we can say is, as you can see for yourself in the insets above, this GT-R has never seen before modifications to the rear underspoiler. Combine that with the fact that this license plate was previously used on Nissan’s SpecV test car in 2008 I think we can rule out the 2007 test car/old mule theory and infer this is a new car.

Visible changes? Firstly there’s venting on the underspoiler sides. Secondly there appears to be a modification to the diffuser at the rear – It looks to be in two pieces now. This is a 100% crop image so it’s about the most detail we have right now. Let us know if you pick anything different.

When Nissan launched the GT-R at the Tokyo MotorShow in 2007 the deal was that each year we’d seen an evolutionary step taken and a new model released. Exactly what this meant we didn’t know at the time but so far Mizuno-san has kept his promise by launching the GT-R SpecV in January 2009. What’s next though?

Well even before the SpecV had been officially launched the rumours of the next evolutionary step were being spun by the Japanese print media. We’ve now heard that Mizuno-san’s plan is to have the Nissan GT-R SpecM on sale in 2010.

An additional rumour is that Nissan plans to announce the SpecM’s official launch at the 41st Tokyo MotorShow 2009 in October 2009. The timing seems awfully convenient so I do not doubt the source here. Orders to be taken late 2009 and deliveries in early 2010 would seem to fit the mould nicely.

So what is a SpecM? As many would know the R34 GT-R was the first GT-R to come bearing the nameplate “M-Spec” in two guises, the “M-Spec” and “M-Spec Nur”. Each was an upmarket GT-R aimed at the well-to-do gentleman buyer who prefers a little more class in their top of the range Skyline.

The base M-Spec was equipped with the V-Spec II level of equipment minus the carbon hood which was standard on the V-Spec II. The M-Spec had the base model’s aluminium item but got the interior swathed in black leather. The M-Spec suspension was tuned with a different spring arrangement and tuned dampers providing a more supple ride.

How will the R35 GT-R SpecM improve over the base model? Best Car magazine recently published that the GT-R SpecM would be customisable from the paint colour down to a choice of interior materials.

While the R35 GT-R SpecM base price is expected to start lower than the SpecV, I’m sure you can customise it to be quite pricey. Just tick that carbon-ceramic brake package box and see how you go.
