GT-Rがスーパー耐久に帰ってきました。今回だけのスポット参戦ということですが、ニスモは富士スピードウェイで GT-R RC をデビューさせました。この GT-R RC はスーパー耐久レースのST-1クラスに出場します。
昨日のプラクティスと今日の予選ではダントツの速さを見せつけているようです。

GT-R RC はかつてNISMOが販売したフェアレディZ NISMO 380RS-C と同様、モータースポーツを楽しむカスタマー向けの商品として近い将来に発売を予定されています。そのため、NISMOは今回のレースでこの GT-R RC の強さと商品力を示さなくてはなりません。ドライバーは影山正美選手、田中哲也選手、星野一樹選手の3名で、磐石の態勢で臨んでいます。

日産がFIA GT1世界選手権のオフィシャルカーサプライヤーになったことは、先日のニュースでお知らせしたとおりですが、第1戦アブダビでの写真が届きました。

Australia Day, celebrated the 26th of January every year is the best day of the year to get out in the back yard with a case of beer and fire up the BBQ in the stinking summer heat. It got up to about 40 something Celsius today but fortunately it’s also a public holiday so we don’t need to go to work.

Anyways, lets celebrate Australia Day with some fine pics of a Aussie GT-R! One of the finest in the country, we’re going to be looking out for this car in some upcoming tarmac rallys.

Spotted this great photoshoot of the new Cor Classic Series concave face wheels on a GT-R posted up over on NAGTROC forums. These new wheels really suit the GT-R and are available in 20″ standard rim or 21″ stepped rim like these fitted here.

The center is anodized Flat Charcoal and are 21×10 in the front and 21×11 in the rear.

Happy new year guys, we’re going to take a day off for recovery after some serious eating and drinking and fireworks watching for 2010. The view above is pretty much what I was watching as the clock ticked over to 12:00 1st January 2010 in Sydney Australia.

As a small token of appreciation I gathered up a few photos I’ve taken in 2009 and uploaded some highres ones for desktops or what have you.

Nismo and Nissan have given motorsports fans a bit of an early Christmas gift this year by releasing a few new wallpapers from SuperGT and FIA GT championship season. I’ve hosted up the new ones and some classics from 2009 and 2008 as well.

Enjoy and if you have any GT-R art of your own, we’ll be making another wallpapers post around Christmas time so if you want it out there, send it in.

2nd place another step toward successive title for NISSAN GT-R
- SUPER GT 2009 Round 8 Race Report -

October 18th, Autopolis International Racing Course (Oita prefecture)
On Sunday, October 18th, Autopolis International Racing Course played host to Round 8 of the 2009 SUPER GT series, the ‘SUPER GT in Kyushu 300km’ race. Starting third, the MOTUL AUTECH GT-R (#1 Satoshi Motoyama/Benoit Treluyer) finished on the second tier of the podium, taking an important step towards a second successive title.
