ブーストロジック（Boost Logic）が1マイル（約1.6km）アタック仕様のGT-Rを制作しました。このGT-Rは、テキサスにおいてスタンディングスタートで1マイルを200mph（約320km/h）オーバーで通過しました。

この、1マイルを203.6mphで通過したGT-Rは、ブースト25psiで823rwhp（後輪で測定した馬力）を発生。これは彼らの開発にとって初期段階で、もっと記録を伸ばすことができそうです。

Inspired by Nismo’s own GT500 spec racing cars in SuperGT, Hong Kong based KC racing have built their GT-R with the goal of taking it racing. The extreme looking GT-R is also a demo car for a range of locally made aero parts from Topmix International which we hadn’t seen until now.

So far they’ve just finish tuning the car and have taken it out to Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) just across the pond in China. That day they managed a 1:47.9 minute lap in the 40 degree heat with the boost lowered to around 1.2bar (vs. 1.37bar) due to the lack of great fuel. In this configuration it’s still good for 570ps.

This is one original looking GT-R. Interesting to see the Topmix front bar and just how much airflow it allows to the dual engine oil relocated intercoolers. This lets the primary radiator breath a lot better. Function over form for sure.

The Haltech team have lived up to their word and begun delivering USDM Nissan GT-R suitable Haltech Platinum Pro full ECUs this week. After launching not too long ago, some units are in the US already with more to come shortly. The ECUs ship with full OE grade harnesses, software, USB cable, and the connectors required to wire in the MAP sensors and wideband O2 sensor inputs.

All this for the retail price of $3,200 seems cheap!

In terms of those GT-R owners who have managed to extract big power with existing technologies (such as OE ECU re-flashes) you’ll be well aware of the protective nature of the stock ECU. Boost cuts, limp modes and so on all hold you back whether you’re on the drag strip, circuit or even occasionally just hard driving on the street. To utilise the GT-R’s VR38 to it’s full potential, this should be on your wish list.

For those of you chasing hard data and results, I point you in the direction of the recent NAGTROC thread where “One Lap of America” winner Underpressure has been tuning and testing with his Haltech unit already and has published some pretty amazing in-progress dyno charts.

GTR-World has some scoop photos of 14 of the GT-Rs attending SEMA this year as they are setting up with Zele International at the ENEOS Oil booth. Quite a few GT-Rs are sporting some new modifications that we haven’t seen before so let’s get through them!

SEMA is broken up into three halls, Central Hall, North Hall and South Hall with the South Hall having two levels. The majority of the displays are focussed on the domestic cars but this year at least fourteen* booths are displaying Nissan GT-Rs in various states of tune.
