Another Australian innovation to show you guys today, Willall Racing’s latest addition to their cooling and oil related product lineup, the WR35DC rear diff cooler. Designed from the ground up with circuit driven Nissan GT-Rs in mind, the kit is designed to be a direct bolt on, no nonsense required fit onto your Nissan GT-R.
Featuring a 13 row oil cooler, CNC machined brackets, oil pump, high pressure hoses and fittings as well as every fastener you’ll need to bolt it straight on. The kit also has a neat replacement diff cooler air scoop and jack point adapter to ensure you can continue to service the car via the rear diff jack point as per normal without concern that you’ll break something.
One other benefit of going with the WR35DC is the integration and compatibility with the existing WR35TC transmission cooler. If you have this item or are looking to buy it at the same time, you’ll find that Willall can ship with the require brackets and looms to mount them both without issue.
Priced at $1,495 it’s available from your Willall Racing distributor now, test data should be made available shortly.
Some of you who’ve spent some time getting to know the GT-R at your local race tracks may have noticed that the brakes tend to get hot. It’s not rocket science really, a big heavy car like the GT-R expects a lot from it’s brakes even if they are mammoth in size.
Nissan’s solution to brake heat issues was to throw a whole heap of money at carbon ceramic rotors and a pair of tiny air ducts in the front lip spoiler for the SpecV. HKSKansai on the other hand have come up with a product a little more subtle and available. Simple air guides that bolt to your lower control arms and direct air towards the calipers.
Could it be this easy? Well real world results are not abundant at this stage so we’ll have to wait and see. These sell for about 39,900 yen in Japan.
A couple of photos that landed in my news feed of the Ebbro 1/43rd scale Nissan GT-R SpecV model that should now be on sale. As usual the Ebbro models are of excellent quality with high amount of attention to the details. This one is in Ultimate Opal Black but you can also find them in Brilliant White Pearl.

Just over a month since MVP Motorsports set the quarter mile record for the Nissan GT-R of 10.31 @ 131 mph, SSP have struck back with a few strong runs down the strip. In one outing they’ve managed a 10.49 @ 132mph and then a extremely strong 10.37 @ 134mph. These runs were done in very hot ambient temps (107 F) which means that may even see better times out of this car when the weather cools down a bit.
For now the fastest ET still stands at 10.31 sec but the SSP GT-R, with it’s higher trap speeds, is arguably putting out slightly more horsepower.
We saw the design and CAD images back in early June but now Willall Racing has completed the design and fabrication and has installed the WR35OP on their own Nissan GT-R.
The final product is finished beautifully and is supplied with oil pan, oil pickup extension and all seals and quality fasteners required to complete the install job.
Once fitted up, Willall Racing filled up with just under 8 litres of engine oil, a 40% increase in oil volume over standard.
