Nissan GT-R Officially Launched in the Middle East
The R35 GT-R has finally been officially launched in the Middle East by Nissan today. The GT-R has always been quite special in the region so Nissan also took the opportunity to announce a special GT-R driving challenge which will take place on March 2nd 2009. Famous rally driver Mohamed Ben Sulayem will attempt to set a benchmark time on the Jebel Hafeet Mountain road just south of Al Ain, UAE.
The Jebel Hafeet Mountain road itself is said to be one of the worlds finest driving roads, built on the Jebel Hafeet Mountain it acends 4,000 feet by way of 60 corners and amazing smooth pavement.
Should certainly be interesting, hope to see some in car video from the event.
