Freedom Autosports GT-R Goes Green
Racing team Freedom Autosports has campaigned various cars in the Grand Am KONI Challenge racing series before and this colour scheme has worked well for them. They’ve now covered their Nissan GT-R in Porsche Signal Green vinyl wrap with vinyl graphics to compliment it.
Several other aero modifications have been made, a big front splitter and some front canards to name two. Wheels are CCW505 in 20″ rear and 19″ front sizes.
The colour I think is great for a race car. Those wheels… not so much.

Is that for real ? Honestly ?
OK I found out why its so rice. They are based in Florida. That about explains the tackiness, and the no sense of style or continuity in a certain style.
Florida cars, do have this certain, I have no idea what looks right to them.
..OMG This is so.. ugly. Seriously lime green and vinyls?
Thats what you get when you cross GTR’s with Yanks…
This front spoiler, color, and side flames, are all a matter of personal prefrance! With that said.
Any one that knows all wheel drive, knows you can NOT run different size rims front and back. This causes the system to work harder in driving the all 4 wheels at the same time at the same speed, thus damaging the transfercase.
I guess all the owners of lime green Lambos and
Porsches have bad taste, too.
Freedom, great job in promoting your company.
Your whip is eye catching! When I see lime green
I think Freedom Auto Sports…
SoCal OSliderz
Looks just like the Eclipse from the first Fast and the Furious movie :/
@ “SoCal OSliders” are you for real? The color has nothing to do with it (matter or personall preference). The cheap graphics (honestly I think that same design is available in the old Modern Image catalog) and the abysmal chose of rims for this car are what make it look so horrible.
The problem is it doesnt’t look like a race car at all. It *looks* like a car whose primary parts source was Pep Boys. Whether or not that is the case I don’t know, but the bad graphics / crappy wheel choice give that impression. I wouldn’t take that care seriously in a parking lot, let alone a circuit.
Poor execution. This is what the GT-R manual meant when they put that graphic of a riced out GT-R in the back with a big line through it….
@ So Cal Sliders. Money cant buy taste. A lime green Lamborghini, thats new money saying “look how much money I have”.
Lime green with blue flame graphics , chrome wheels. Thats not ” look at me I have money”. Thats “look at me, I am color blind.”
After reading your comments, your statement should have read, ” look at me, I have no money and I am
jealous as hell. poor me”.
It would sort of work, minus the diffuser, graphics and those horrendously ugly wheels.
skylines are not your rice cars like honda civics. this are performance built cars which need not additional fugly vinyl or rims, color is ok. company’s great but their taste is bad. plus you don’t race with chrome rims.
I think you are missing the point here. Race cars are meant to stand out. Porsche ran a 911 and 930 in hot pink with the cuts of particular beef cuts back in the late 70′s, and Telefonica ran a flourescent yellow Reynard chassis in Champ Car. The car has a green wrap on it, which means it will be removed. The simple fact that you are talking about it means that it worked.
