Something that seems to come up a fair bit when we post about the new GT-R are questions regarding the new colours of the wheels. Pretty much all wheel colours have changed in the series II MY09 model. We’ve put a side by side photo comparison above but also received another comparison of each of the wheel colours side by side.

Hopefully this clears it up! Thanks to Chuck from NAGTROC for passing on the bulletin image below.

Another product release for US based SouthSide Performance, these polished aluminium intake piping kits bolt straight on in place of the OEM cast pipes.

SSP have also hinted at a large front mount intercooler kit for mid January 2009 with an associated piping kit to go with it.

Retail price for this hardpipe kit is $1599 and it comes with black hose joiners and upgraded t-bolt clamps over the unreliable standard hose clamps.

Buttonwillow Circuit got a workout today with the North American GTR Owners Club – NAGTROC – showing up for their track day meet. Among attendees were Z Car Garage, Kunani from Budez.com, AXIS Wheels, and lots of other NAGTROC members.

The Spec-V is right around the corner and Holiday Auto have mocked up what they expect the new colouring and badge placement to look like. I’ve heard the new purplish black is a lot more black than purple and we’ve mocked up one as well (below).

Spec-V is officially released on the 8th of January and will be available for the public to see on the 9th. Interesting timing indeed.
