July Nissan R35 GT-R Club Daikoku Meet
In this newest of traditions the R35 GT-R meet at Daikoku was held today. The first such meet to have been blessed with dry weather. About 40 GT-Rs attended today’s meet which makes it the biggest meet up yet.
For those new to this, Daikoku Futo Parking Area (PA) is an extremely popular meetup place for car nuts on the freeway between Tokyo and Yokohama about 40minutes drive from the heart of Tokyo. Every month for the last three months R35 GT-R club members have met up here to socialise and check out each other’s rides.

I agree that place looks like a nice meet up spot. Especially at night.
First time I went to Daikoku it was very surreal. The fact that I was driving this GT-R made it even more so.
I recommend it to everyone travelling to Japan to try and get to Daikoku PA one weekend night to check it out. There might not be 40 GT-Rs there (there’ll most likely be a few though) but there will always be some car club meetup.
When I went once there was a whole row of old school Lamborghini’s with LOUD bosozoku like exhaust systems. Never really knew there would be a club for that sort of thing but there they were.

I like it more every time I go… I’ll be back in January at the latest but possibly November this year also.
