Top Gear Season 11: Nissan GT-R on the Top Gear Test Track – It’s Here!
Top Gear season 11 episode five has finally aired in the UK. In this episode Jeremy takes the Nissan GT-R to Fuji Speedway as well as letting Stig have a go at the Top Gear test track. The GT-R does exceptionally well in both, Jeremy quickly finding out how painful high cornering G forces can be on your neck.

There is nothing I love more than to talk trash about GTR but as much as I don’t like it I hate clarkson even more and that thing just snapped his neck!!! That was my winning moment right there. Thats it the car have won me! Oh and I tend to trust Top Gears lap times more than any magazine out there and credit is due were it’s deserved. That is one fast lap time. Amazingly fast lap time. Amazing. I’m speechless.
This proved that the Nurburgring time is real

take the atom out of the rank (YOU CANT DRIVE THAT THING ON NORMAL ROADS)and you have 2 cars you have to be choosed to buy (enzon and zonda f)and 3 cars you would have to be a bilionaire to purchase.

looks like they use the basic model of gtr, which has a weaker tyre compared to the one jeremy drove back in japan’s road and fuji speedyway. however, it still blows those euro’s super cars off
Since we are talking about tires here, the worst tire choice EVER by any manufacturer on any supercar are the Michelin Pilot Sport 2′s they put on the Carrera GT. Horrible decision by Porsche considering they supply Cups on the GT2 and GT3. Slap some sweet tires on the CGT and GTR and we have a new scoreboard!

The time is really amazing. Stand with Enzo, Carrera GT,MC12. And what you get is just a 53000 pounds car.And you also get 4 seats and a boot. What a car! I love GT-R!
and then the GTR puts on some semislicks and we have a new score board…….the then CGT puts on some racing slicks and we have another new scoreboard….the point of the board is to race these cars in factory condition, if CGT camp is silly enough to put on crap tires then it’s their fault….re release the CGT in better tyres and you’ll get better times on the board.
Let the Stig drive the GTR around nurburgring – He was attacking the course soo hard compared to the Best Motoring guys. I was thinking it would be good for at least another 10 seconds.
What you all seem to forget though is that even though it put faster lap times than some of the cool cars like Enzo CGT and MC12 that doesn’t mean a lot of ppl would pick it over those badass supercar. At the end of the day the looks will win over speed for most ppl when it comes to choosing a car. Oh and saying car has 4 seats and a trunk (not boot, boot is lame, boot is a shoe) that’s not necessary a good thing to be proud of.
Those cars sure are cool. I don’t really think you can say that they are aimed at the same demographic though. One demographic has 70k (ok maybe a little more) for a car. One demographic has 4 times that much.
Sure some Enzo buyers might ALSO have a GT-R but no GT-R buyers will go and pick up an Enzo as a second car.
Having 4 seats and a big trunk sure is a thing to be proud of considering the exotic competitors manage to be slower AND less practical. The GT-R is a daily driveable car with room to lug your crap. At the same time you can take it to the track and, with skill, keep up with exotics.
How is that not an awesome achievement?

It’s the most sensible, cheapest & fastest car to buy on top 20 of the Top Gear test track power board.
It’s a daily use car
Maybe it’s a normal GT-R R35, in few months there will be V-Spec GT-R, i think this V-Spec can be on 1st – 4th on test track power board
