Mine’s R35 GT-R Breaks Into the 59′s @ Tsukuba

Mines’s have solidly broken into the 59′s around Tsukuba by posting a 59.367 with their modified R35 GT-R last Friday (15th). Modifications include full Mine’s Spec III suspension (Sachs dampers, Eibach springs), Mine’s VX ROM ECU, Mine’s Silence-VX Pro Titan II exhaust and upgraded Mine’s brake rotor kit (400mm front rotors). Driving the GT-R was Tetsuya Yamano.

To compare against standard GT-Rs, the best we have seen is 1.01.9 posted by MCR when their car was still standard. Other quick times for modified cars have been a 1.00.2 by Amuse with their modified GT-R.

Most impressive…was disabling limiter a big deal or did driving on 98 vs 100 octane affect timing. Have driven one and considering buying one here in NZ but servicing issues holding me back. How long before Consult Version 3 available or is there an alternative. Tough to have to wait ti March 09 otherwise.

Cobb Tuning in the US are promising to bring their AccessPORT ECU tuning software out for the R35 GT-R after they finish developing it. I’m sure Nissan dealers will have Consult software but it is most likely read only as far as ignition and fuel maps are concerned.

unfortunately no software other than version 2 at the present time in NZ…and at that it may be difficult to get a Nissan dealer servicing a grey car. Woud you take a chance buying ths car knowing if something serious happened it may sit in the garage for some tie.
